Lydia Hazan, M.D.
CEO
Dr. Lydia Hazan graduated from McGill University and completed her
residency at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. She is the founder of
Impact Clinical Trials, and has been a leading investigator in over
20 studies in the fields of pediatrics, gynecology and dermatology
with a focus on Pediatric Hypertension, Type 2 Diabetes and High
Cholesterol.
She is also the founder of PowerPlay,
a weight loss program for children. Dr Hazan also serves as a medical
consultant for ABC, NBC and Univision News. She has appeared on
such telvesion shows as CBS Women to Women, UPN News, ABC News,
Univision-TV, Telemundo and KTLA News. Dr Hazan was hired to participate
in the VERB campaign sponsored by the CDC to take part in a six
month feature story in Fitness Magazine. She is a major speaker
and published author on topics of childhood obesity and Type 2 Diabetes.
Dr Hazan was recently asked to serve as a consultant with the Department
of Health and Human Services (DHSS) in an initiative by the surgeon
general to combat childhood obesity. Recenly she was asked to chair
the Pediatric speaker forum at the DIA annual meeting.

CFO
Mr Hazan brings to the table over 30 years of experience as president
of business affairs at a major international dental cooporation.
He oversees management and financial administrative activities at
Impact .

John Estrada, M.D.
Dr John Estrada is the leading investigator for all our dermatology
trials. He graduated from the University of Texas, completed his
residency and internship at the University of Southern California.
Dr Estrada also served as Captain, General Medical Officer for the
United States Air Force from 1965 to 1967. He is currently the Clinical
Assistant, Professor of Medicine at the University of Southern California.
Dr Estrada is an active member in many professional societies such
as the Los Angeles County Medical Association, California Medical
Association, American Medical Association, Los Angeles Metropolitan
Dermatologic Society, American Academy of Dermatology and California
Hispanic American Medical Association just to name a few.

Nathana Lurvey, M.D.
We are very proud to have Dr. Lurvey as the leading investigator
in trials focusing on uterine fibroids, endometriosis, contraception
and menopause. She graduated from the Medicine program at Brown
University in 1989 and completed her Internship and Residency in
Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of California, San Diego.
She currently provides obstetrical and gynecological services in
a collaborative practice with nurse midwives at the California Obstetrics
and Gynecology Services Medical Group.
Dr Lurvey participates in many ACOG activities; she is a member
of the ACOG committee on Quality Improvement and Patient Safety,
she has served as the chair, vice chair, member ACOG Committee on
Practice Management, she also sits on the member advisory board
Planning for Pregnancy Birth and Beyond and many other valuable
contributions.
Dr Lurvey received the Mead Johnson Bristol Myers Squibb Travel
Award, where she was Junior Fellow Delegate to the Annual Clinical
Meeting of ACOG

Sabine Steinberg, M.D. (Licensed Gastroenterologist)
Dr S. Steinberg holds a bachelor of science with a major in biology
and a minor in Physical therapy and nutrition from Concordia University
in Montreal, Canada. She also holds a D.E.C. with Specialty in Health,
Pure and Applied Sciences from Cegep Brebeuf, Montreal, Canada.
She was awarded a Medical Diploma (M.D.) from Dalhousie University,
Nova Scotia, Canada. Dr S. Steinberg comes to Impact Clinical Trials
with a huge research experience background especially in gastroenterology.
She is a licensed gastroenterologist and obtained her fellowship
from Jacksonville, FL.

Alon Steinberg, M.D. (Licensed Cardiologist)
Dr A. Steinberg holds bachelor of arts degree with honors in Mathematics
from University of Texas, Austin and a Medical Diploma (M.D.) from
University of Texas, Galveston. Dr. A. Steinberg received a Fellowship
in Cardiovascular Diseases from University of Florida, Jacksonville,
FL. He has been practicing Cardiology since 1995 and currently heads
the Clinical Research Cardiology Associates.

Risha M. Henry, Ph.D.
Dr. Risha M Henry specializes in clinical psychology and leads
our clinical studies in psychological disorders. With a bachelor
of science from Stanford University and a doctoral of philosophy
degree from the University of California, Los Angeles, Dr. Henry
is a great asset to Impact Clinical Trials. She has extensive knowledge
in pediatric psychology and is currently leading many studies on
bipolar disorder. She also has numerous publications in clinical
psychology. Dr. Henry is currently leading the Child and Adolescent
Bipolar Project at the UCLA Neuropsychiatric Institute.

Peyman Banooni, M.D.
Dr. Banooni is one of our leading investigator in OB/GYN specialties.
He graduated from the University of California, San Diego, completed
his residency at the Cedar-Sinai Medical Center in 2003. Currently,
he works as a gynecologist in the Beverly Hills Medical Plaza. Dr.
Banooni has extensive knowledge in research and is an active member
in many professional societies such as American College of Obstetrics
and Gynecology, The society of Laproendoscopic Surgeons and North
American Menopause Society.

Carson D. Liu, M.D.
Dr. Carson D. Liu specializes in gastric bypass and lap bands.
Dr. Liu received his medical degree from the University of Chicago,
Prizkey School of Medicine and completed his internship, residencies
and research fellowship at UCLA Medical School where he continued
to hone his skills in clinical practice, teaching and research.
Dr. Liu has conducted extensive research and is widely published
in the field of Bariatric and gastrointestinal surgery; he is nationally
recognized in his field and has lectured extensively to professional
societies on these subjects.
